Red paper-covered boards. Many black and white illustrations (119 in all). A book prompted by the Persian exhibition at Burlington House in the same year; 101 pages plus index. Condition: The front board is coming loose together with the frontispiece and endpapers, but remaining block is sound and holding firm. The pages are clean and the only markings are occasional very neat pencil notes.
