Green blind-stamped boards, gilt titles to spine. One of the National Industries series, edited by Henry Higgs. The last chapter is especially intriguing, covering the author’s ideas as to the possible future of the railways in Britain, as seen at the time of writing (1911). Condition: Binding firm, but considerable foxing to fore-edges, and some pages carelessly opened, resulting in damage to margins of some half a dozen pages, and ragged page edges. Previous owner’s name and address to front paste-down.
