Bookplate, with ink inscription underneath, to front paste down: ‘Ex-Library of the Duke of Sussex’. Later owner’s name to front free end paper, Edward Back???? 1845. Condition: Paper and leather very rubbed; water staining throughout. Page edges worn and nibbled, some discolouration. One page torn to margin, but no loss. Back board becoming detached, although still holding.
