Signed by the author, in a personal gift inscription on the front free end paper, dated December 1940. Blue cloth-covered boards, silver titles to spine, 240 pages. The book consists largely of extracts from Hansard reports of the debates in the House of Commons during the years 1933-1938, chosen to support the author’s views on the unpreparedness of the country’s air defences by 1938 and where to lay the blame for that state of affairs. Condition: Bumping to boards, spine faded and rubbed, dust spotting to external edges of text block.
