Twenty-one maps of the ancient world, all intact, and an index with prefatory note. Condition: Boards worn, pasted-on label very worn and rubbed, some contemporary schoolboy graffiti to end papers and occasionally to rear of maps (“Oh Lord Deliver Me from Mr Cocks” among others). J. R. Wigram’s name in careful ink to front paste down. All in all, clearly an ex-schoolroom copy, but sound and intact. One map (Oriens) has some contemporary ink staining. Photos available.
