This book is his personal narrative of the project and the work that led up to it. Black cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine, pictorial dust jacket (overall orange coloured) illustrations from photographs, 370 pages. Condition: Dust jacket (unclipped) creased, worn and chipped, with a tear along the fold to the front flap. Boards rubbed, but book is internally unmarked and the pages clean and bright.
