Undated, but includes American Publisher’s Advertisement dated 1875 and announcing this as representing completion of publication of the Collected Works. This is Volume XII of the Collected Works. Edited by John Foster Kirk, with the Author’s latest corrections. Publisher’s brown boards, gilt titles and decoration to spine. Engraved frontispiece . Many pages unopened. Title page stamped, in copperplate, “James Dangerfield”. Condition: Staining or fading to the surface of the boards (perhaps the aftermath of mould damage, or splashing from some abrasive substance?). Internally good. Copperplate stamp of (presumed) previous owner to title page.
