Stamped ‘SPECIMEN COPY’ to front. Undated, but probably earl twentieth century. A soft ring binder (as issued) of 24 plates, each with two views of some scenic art of the British Isles. These are printed in colour to recto and in black and white to the verso of each leaf (thus 48 different views in all). Those in black and white are clearly from photographs while the coloured ones appear to have been prepared from paintings. They were intended for school use and the page of textthat precedes them has some suggested problems and exercises. Condition: Covers worn and bumped, contents in very good condition.
