Admiral Canaris was head of the Abwehr from 1 January 1935, but disappeared from view in 1944, and (it later transpired) was imprisoned without trial and eventually executed. This book traces his life from his time as a cadet to his death. Illustrated from photographs; 599 pages plus Notes for each chapter, Glossary, Bibliography and Index. Condition: Dust jacket (price clipped) rolled at edges and with signs of wear. The book itself is a clean, sound, unmarked copy.
