With a college prize label left laid in (British Ropes Ltd Mining Prize, 1957 – 1958). Blue cloth-covered boards, gilt motif to front board, gilt titles to spine, 341 pages, some illustrations from photographs, many diagrams etc. Condition: A little rubbing to the boards, especially to the extremities of the spine strip, spine faded, but a clean, sound copy. Dustjacket spotty and very worn.
