Undated, but with previous owner’s name dated 1881 to title page. Preface to the edition of 1840 followed by ‘A Word to the Reader Prefixed to the First Editon of 1837′.’ Half leather, brown cloth-covered boards. Condition: Boards and leather very worn (especially the leather), foxing to first few pages, end papers grubby; front board very nearly detached (held by cords). Text block firm.
