Remarkable story of a lone “other ranks” escaper, who saw a great deal of Greece, Italy and Germany in his many attempts reach home. Condition: Boards clean, sound but with a little bumping, pages clean, some spotting to the fore edges of the text block. Dust jacket (price clipped) is worn, with some loss to the top edge, and is now protected by a transparent wrapper.
