A collection of photographs of geological formations that a student might hope to encounter on field trips. There is a Physical Map of the British Isles, followed by a Geological Map, then a set of photographs and fold-out tables, with blank pages opposite each of the plates. There are blank pages at the end for field notes, perforated for tearing out. One of these does have a sketch on it and another has been neatly torn out, but there is otherwise very little sign of use. Condition: Boards a little bumped, previous owner’s name (dated 1911) to front free end paper, age-toning to blank pages separating plates. Plates in excellent condition. The only marking is neat pencil annotation to one or to entries in the Contents pages, giving more etdailed page rferences.
