Further Details

Translated from the Czech by K. Weisskopf. The subject of the book is described by the publishers as events in “the biggest marshalling yard from which Central European Jewry were sent to their death in the East”, and the author’s account of Terezin as “an intelligent analysis of a unique chapter of modern Jewish history”. Blue cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine, drab mushroom-coloured dustjacket, 275 pages. Contents include a Statistical Survey of deportations and a Bibliography. Condition: Dust jacket (unclipped) shows some wear, with reinforcement to top corner of the front face, and its spine area is soiled. Boards sound, clean and bright, and the text block likewise. Previous owner’s name to front free end paper. Very small stain to bottom of half title.
