Ex-library. In the series Pitman’s Common Commodities. Grey-green cloth-covered boards, black titles to front board and spine, 146 pages (including index) followed by pages of publisher’s catalogue. With 25 illustrations from photographs, including several of workers at work. Barely octavo in size (approximately 7.4 inches high). Condition: Traces of library label to front paste down, label pasted over with blank sheet to rear end paste down, library’s stamp (Norwich Public Library) to title page and here and there throughout, their ‘Withdrawn’ stamp to front free end paper, spine strip wearing and fraying away for top two inches or so, boards worn and rubbed. Binding firm and illustrations clean and unmarked.
