A special publication to mark the centenary year of la Societé Française d’Ophtalmologie. Publication comprised a limited edition numbered 1 to 1500. This is number 677. Green linen covered covered boards, faux leather spine, gilt titles to spine. 187 pages, including all indexes etc. Includes illustrations from photographs. The volume is divided into two parts. The first part consists of 11 of the 14 papers which had been given at the symposium on the History of Ophthalmology in June 1980, but which had not been published in volume 3 of this series. The second consists of papers given to two meetings of the Groupement Francophone d’Histoire de l’Ophtalmologie in 1981 and 1982. Condition: Excellent condition, inside and out.
