Co-author Arthur Cryer. Described as ‘A Companion Volume to “Mining Drawing”, for the Use of Mining Students and Colliery Officials’. Undated. 64 pages in all, comprising a selection of sketches (pages 4 – 64) to help students preparing for the Colliery Managers’ Examinations. Some alterations have been made by hand to the advertisement and title page: the advertisement for companion volumes has a pasted in amendment, the title page has a pasted in address label over the original one and a handwritten amendment to the affiliations of the authors and there is an amendment by hand to the amount of postage. Condition: Rather knocked and grubby externally, but internally clean and bright, and with the binding firm.
