His autobiography finishes some time after the Second World War. Blue cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine and to front board, 271 pages, Brown and cream dustjacket. Condition: Dustjacket soiled, worn and with small areas of loss. A very small amount of foxing to the title page and just discernibly to the first two pages (upper margin). Soiling to the external page edges, age-browning to the endpapers, text otherwise clean and bright.
