First published in France under the title “SS”; This Is the first English edition. It is the autobiography of a junior SS Officer. It has much to tell us about the world in which he existed as well as details of his time on the Russian front. Blue cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine, red and black dust jacket, 286 pages. Condition: The price-clipped dust jacket is edge worn, worn at the joints and with a tear (repaired to verso) to the back. The book is clean, bright and firm, with just an eighth of an inch or so of sun-fading to the bottom of the spine strip.
