Full leather, gilt decoration and gilt titles to spine, all edges marbled, marbled end papers. With photograph of the author tipped in as frontispiece. Prize inscription to prelim: ‘Bertha Innes- Prize for Map Drawing- Clergy Orphan School- Midsummer 1876’. Condition: Leather very worn along front hinge, but holding. Spine rubbed, with some loss/crumbling of the leather to the top centimetre or so. Foxing to prelims, pages clean and bright otherwise.
