Revised and enlarged edition. With maps. As Wallace explained in his own preface, the observations of Russia used as a basis for this edition extended over a period of 40 years, from 1870 onwards. Condition: The boards are rather faded and there is some splashing and soiling to external page edges. Internally, pages are clean and sound, with the exception of 10 pages or so in the middle of book which are foxed. A sound reading copy.
