In original paper wrappers. Well-illustrated catalogue (B/W photographs) of Dr. Seligmann’s collection, as exhibited in Berlin in April 1930. With introductory chapters by Paul Clemen, Otto von Falke and Georg Swarenski. Divided into items from Late Antiquity, Early Middle Ages, Romanesque and Gothic periods. There is also a section of Textiles. Condition: Some foxing or age toning to text and blank pages, plates clean and sound. Wrappers show considerable wear, front cover detached, spine strip only present in remnants. A very large volume, hard to handle in its present state, and needing the attention of a binder.
