Complete in two volumes. Marbled boards, original paper labels. Engraved frontispiece to Volume 1. Neatly-written name of previous owner- T. J. Dunbabin. Tom Dunbabin, an archaeologist, worked with the resistance against the Germans in Crete in the 1939-1945 war. Condition: Boards rubbed and worn at edges, a little wear to the marbled paper, rubbing to top and bottom of spine strip, otherwise a clean, sound set.
