Comprising the volume of 1909 with the three volumes of additions, published in 1923, 1938 and 1955. Black (Volumes I, II and IV) or blue (Volume III) cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine, gilt motif to front board. Condition: Volume I has split to front hinge, about half way along the length of the volume, and another towards the base; boards rubbed and bumped, binding slack, tanning to half-title, some light foxing until after the title page. The other three volumes are sound, with rubbing/bumping etc to boards roughly correlating with age; internally clean. Volume IV is from Canterbury Public Library, with their label to front paste down, while the others appear to have been private copies.
