Mushroom coloured boards, black decoration and titles to front and spine. Illustrations by Caroll Bill. A 1944 reprint of the book first published in 1935. An Englishwoman’s account of events in Mexico and her experiences of them in the early years of the 20th century. Rosa King opened a hotel in that country in 1910 and gives a gripping account of the events through which she subsequently lived. Condition: Boards a little bumped, but binding tight and pages crisp and clean. Previous owner’s name to front free end paper, with place (Mexico) and year (1945). A very nice copy.
