Published in the early years of the British NHS, when “a solution is being sought to the problems raised by the introduction of sickness benefit services on a national scale”. Condition: The book is sound and clean, the dustjacket worn, with repairs, and sadly the dustjacket has been taped to the front and rear paste down of this otherwise very good book. The book itself is sound, clean and unmarked. One page is creased in the margin and this has slightly affected two or three of the subsequent pages.
