Second edition, enlarged, “recording the architectural casualties suffered during the whole period of air bombardment 1940-45”. Blue cloth-covered boards, red titles to spine, 199 pages plus Index. After a two-page Foreword, the book consists entirely of pages of photographs with extended captions. Condition: Dust jacket torn, soiled and ragged, with loss as well as remnants of amateur repair. Boards bumped, faded area to top inch or so of front board and bottom half inch, spine strip and board edges soiled. However the book is sound, and internally clean and unmarked, other than old price to front free end paper.
