Dark green cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine, cream dustjacket, 266 pages. Related material left laid in, mostly obituaries of other geographers but also correspondence to the previous (and first) owner regarding the subscription appeal to support publication of this book, which was published to mark Professor Baker’s retirement. An obituary has been pasted in to the front paste down (none too tidily) and a review of one of Baker’s books to the rear paste down. Condition: Dust jacket rather grubby, dust spotting to external top page edges, otherwise a sound, clean copy.
