An illustrated miscellany, including many full page illustrations, although those of exotic places seem mostly to have been drawn by people who have not troubled themselves to travel. Condition: Top board detached, rear board and text block scarcely holding together, spine strip lost- needing restoration. Rear board splashed, both boards very knocked. Gift inscription dated 1856 to front free end paper.
