Undated, but a previous owner has offered 1885. Paper covers, 109 pages plus a List of Engagements (2 pages). Illustration to inside front cover (General Gordon’s house at Gravesend, from a photograph) and inside back cover (the pewter teapot that General Gordon used in his China campaign). With a Preface by Miss Gordon (his sister), an Introduction by the Rev H Carruthers Wilson MA, and dedicated to Miss Gordon. Condition: Covers soiled, corners of text block slightly dog-eared, text block sound, pages clean and unmarked.
