Old morocco binding, all edges gilt. With memoir, explanatory notes etc. Condition: Binding worn, with spine especially very rubbed, with half an inch or so chipped at the top. However the binding is sound and the book has a pleasant feel to it- a nice reading copy. Two gift inscriptions (first dated 1894) to front free end paper. A few small pencil ticks to contents pages.
