Blue cloth-covered boards, gilt decoration and titles to front board, gilt titles to spine, 106 pages. Tipped in coloured frontispiece, many other full page plates (some in colour). Related letter to E R Cooper from the Port of London Authority pasted in to front free end paper, and the pictorial bookplate of Ernest Read Cooper to front paste down (with a model of ‘Elisabeth, brig of Yarmouth’). Condition: Boards rubbed, bumped and worn. Some foxing to front free end paper, occasional foxing/spotting, and one of plates especially showing some yellowing/spotting, which is also affecting the text page opposite.
