Each pair of map pages has a pair of headers: “R W Forsyth Ltd Highland Ornament Makers” and “R W Forsyth Ltd Highland Boot & Shoe Makers”. Published in 1920, as evidenced by the dated addendum slip listing the 8 additional maps added to show new frontiers etc arising from the 1919 Treaty of Versailles. Green cloth-covered boards, bevelled edges, black titles and gilt motif to front board, blind-stamped company motif to rear board. Condition: Boards rubbed and bumped, top and tail of spine strip frayed, small area of damage to joint of spine strip (back edge). Binding strained across front end papers, which are a little soiled Old, faint pencil note (gift inscription?) mostly erased to front free end paper, front free end paper soiled. Age-tanning to text pages and to extreme margins of maps, which are otherwise clean and bright.
