Further Details

This book was prepared in part to enable geography teachers in London to take their physical geography classes out in the field with ready-prepared material. It is illustrated from photographs, and the pocket at the back has 6 coloured maps- Geological, Relief, Map of Mole Gap, Contours, Parish Map and Communications. An ex-library copy, with blind stamp of Westminster Public Library to front board, gilt shelf mark to spine, label to front paste down and small stamp to verso of each plate. A very tidy library copy: dark green cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine, red deckling to external edges of text block. An excellent example of early 20th Century area study used as teaching material. Condition: Clean, smart binding, contents including maps in excellent condition. Library markings as detailed above, plus stamp to title page and verso.
