Atlas showing the war areas of World War 1, including the position of fortifications. Undated, but the latest statistic quoted is UK Imports/Exports for 1915, suggesting publication date of 1916. Red cloth-covered boards, black titles to front board, with “40 Coloured Maps of the War Areas, Statistics Relating to the Belligerent Countries” and “Index of Over 13,000 Places in Fighting Areas”. Condition: Externally, grubby and rubbed, but sound. Internally, binding firm, maps clean and bright; a few reader’s markings in pencil; for example, Map 2 has a pencil line that coincides with the position of the Western Front. Overall, Good to Very Good.
