With an introduction that covers the place and purpose of confessions of faith, earlier confessions of the Scottish church, and a brief history of he Westminster confession. The main part of the book comprises a point-by-point explanation and defence of the Confession. Condition: Externally faded and rather grubby, with edges of boards bumped. Internally clean, unmarked except for previous owner’s name to front free end paper.
