The titles to the three parts of this book gives some idea of its contents: Aeolian Sand-Waves, Snow-Waves and Snowdrifts, and Sub-Aqueous Sand-Waves. Blue-Green cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to front board and spine, 383 pages. With 80 plates of illustrations. Top edges gilt. Condition: The uncut (untrimmed) edges of the text block are soiled. There is some bumping/rubbing to the boards. Some age-tanning to the endpapers, and a little foxing to the early pages and sporadically to the text pages. The remnants of the dustjacket are present, but not in a state to be applied to book.
