With an introductory chapter on the Employers and Workmen Act 1875, chapters on topics covering all employment (payment of wages, Trade Unions etc) and then eight chapters covering individual trades or groups of trades in more detail. Condition: Ex-library (see above). Externally worn and bumped. Hinge strained across front end papers, which carry publisher’s catalogue, as do the rear end papers. Catalogue pages age-darkened, main text block clean and bright, binding firm apart from front hinge.
