Red cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine, red deckled edges to text block, portrait frontispiece of the president, other illustrations from photographs (mostly of the society’s new premises), 276 pages. Condition: A little rubbing to the boards, small library stamp, “Royal Society Edinburgh”, to the title page and a similar stamp near-obliterated on the front paste down. Firm and clean.
