The author’s obituary is laid in, and describes him as the ‘US spy whose memoir lampooned wartime espionage in the OSS’. A previous owner has tipped in a photocopy of the publisher’s advertisement for the book, and added the comment ‘One of the scarcest WWII books. Not found in 30 years searching! It may never have been published’. Condition: A little bumped and rubbed, otherwise sound. Internally bright.
